There are now TWO player / TWO Team instructions enabling 2 player games - it's still better with more players, but in a pinch it works very well.
They've also retained recent changes like 2 dice, and the optional Bonus/Intrigue cards.
I am not sure if adding these randomizer aspects makes it more fun - the pure deductive mechanic of the classic rules is very pure and compelling - but even then, there were the die rolls that played a sometimes deciding roll - (groan...), so luck was always part of the dynamic, and these Bonus/Intrigue cards merely add some more options for randomizing.
