Big News & Exciting Events!

May has been a very busy month for Conundrum House members and guests! We hosted TWO murder mystery dinner parties, 3 business networking events on Tuesday mornings, hosted several games groups, started our Learn to Play Poker series with a July Amateur Tournament coming up, and launched the 2023 Spectres of Benton County Past series of puzzling history mystery games! 

We have BIG PLANS for the summer, starting with the events listed below.

May 27, 5:00 p.m.  | Spectres of Benton County Past Grand Finale (All Ages!)

Tomorrow we wrap up our 3rd Season of our county wide history mystery clue hunt, Spectres of Benton County Past! Whether you've been playing all season, or not, the event is perfect for the history-loving clue hunter in you!

We're sharing the best of the best of all 3 seasons, and the story arch for this year’s game as well as foreshadowing what is happening with the Spectres Past project over the next year.

Oh, and there is ONE LAST CLUE HUNT game to play.

TIME. DOORS OPEN at 5:00 p.m. Event starts at 5:30 and runs until 7:30p.m.

There are tasty treats from 3 of Corvallis' most beloved food artists: Whimsy Supper Club, Australian Meat Pie Co., and Crazy Woman Ranch Bakery. 

The LAST CLUE HUNT OF THE SEASON takes place throughout the museum, after a short presentation about our first 3 years of creating and running our Spectres of Benton County Past series. 


June 5-13 | Store Closure for Building & Conundrum House upgrades

Upgrades to Building. There is a major upgrade happening on the second floor of our building - the owner is applying a fresh coat of paint on our hallway walls, new flooring for the community hallways, and new carpeting on the stairs.

We are taking advantage of the pending work being done outside of our Conundrum House walls to do some refreshing and upgrades of our spaces as well. As such, WE WILL BE CLOSED JUNE 5th THRU THE 13th.

For Our Rental Club Members. if you want to pick up your June rental during that time, please reserve it online and request pick-up or delivery. We will let you know the pick-up and delivery times in a follow-up email. Check your inbox for your June Member eMail for that code. 

June 25, 4:30 p.m.  | Step Up to the Plate for our 1st Annual Members & Guests Event at Goss Stadium!

Conundrum House is heading for an early locker room on Sunday, June 25th, as we're trading puzzles for peanuts and Cracker Jacks!

SWING INTO Goss Stadium with us for our End-of-the-Month Member Celebration Day on June 25th!

First pitch is scheduled for 5:05 p.m. against the Kamloops NorthPaws, all the way from Kamloops, BC.

The Kamloops NorthPaws, the freshest roster in the West Coast League, are boasting a lineup full of NCAA Division 1 and 2 sluggers, along with a few local heavy hitters. They debuted in the Big Show in the summer of '22.

JUST A BALL'S THROW AGO, we were thrilled to set up shop at the Knights SEA Day (Science Engineering Art), where we offered all 3,571 students, educators, and escorts a variety of our mechanical and manipulative toys, while also sharing the thrill of Spectres Past game! The duel in the diamond that day was between our home team Knights and the challengers from NW Star Academy Nighthawks.

June 29, 3:00 p.m.  | Steampunk Afternoon Tea Affair (The quintessential Corvallis fusion of technology, artistry, and immersive theatre)
