Greg Tichenor Gift Card
My art comes from watching the natural way things evolve together.
And, the “push” of my influence.
To bring about what a lot of artists want.
Something new and unique to them, and the world.
This set of paintings is called “Ambiguous Gods”.
Part of a collection about the boxes we put people in, and the circles of people we have in our lives.
How they interact, we keep them apart, and treat them.
I was recently in New York and London.
Surrounded by amazing art.
The best, the worst, the struggle.
I came across two artist statements that really “hit home”.
Both doing very well for themselves.
One of the youngest believed realism is the ultimate expression of art, and only the mastery of it is worthy.
I think a lot of us have ideas something like this in the beginning.
The second was older, and wrote they wanted to create something that “couldn’t be described with human language”.
I’ve pondered this a lot in the last few months.
I respect the process of both.
