Join master murder mystery Live-Action Role-Playing creators Adrienne Fritze & Mark van der Pol for this fun, engaging 8 workshop series taking you through every step in creating your very own murder mystery experience for 6-8 players. On Tuesdays @ 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Pacific.

Week 1 (9/17): World Building - era/timeframe, genre, key historical elements or moments
Week 2 (9/24): Character Creation - including motives and relationships
3 Week Break in Workshop schedule - work alone or/and with other workshop members to really develop and refine your world and character dossiers.
Week 3 (10/15): Crime Scene - mapping out a realistic crime scene, timelines, et al
Week 4 (10/22): Props 1 | Dossiers - character & world prop design and creation
Week 5 (10/29): Props 2 | Game Night Materials - crime scene prop design and creation
Week 6 (11/5): Clue Booklets - bringing the story and game play together
Week 7 (11/12): Play testing - bringing the story to life, and leveling up the design
Week 8 (11/19): Party Planning - crafting invitations, inspired menus, and more
Each class is 2 hours long - the first 30 minutes or so we cover the basics of that workshop's focus, as well as explore the design and creation tools for the related task. The remainder of our time together you will be drafting that day's LARP element. Homework is for you to massage and refine the work you began in the workshop in preparation for the next stage in the LARP creation process.
